Cours Saleya Flower Market – Nice Old Town

On a trip Nelli and I took to the South of France, we stumbled into one of the most beautiful flower markets I have ever seen. In the heart of the Old Town, right next to the beach, one of Frances’ most famous flower & fruit markets is open every day 7am to 12pm: I recommend buying a punnet of fresh strawberries from one of the stalls & having a wonder round for a couple of hours before getting a coffee outside one of the cafés to watch them shut down. We learnt that the Local’s are very passionate about their gardens! Every terrace filled with cactus’ & succulents’, I was in plant heaven!

Here are a few of my photos from the Flower Market, you’ll notice a lot of ranuculus’ which they had in all sorts of colours – It seems they are a particular favourite in the South of France
